Patterns and Processes of Diploidization in Land Plants

Most land plants are now known to be ancient polyploids that have rediploidized. Diploidization involves many changes in genome organization ultimately restore bivalent chromosome pairing and disomic inheritance, resolve dosage other issues caused by duplication.
